Finally i get back the momentum for training after stand chart.. i'm happy tt i'm able to stick to my training plan so far.. except for Biking session =X
Last Thursday had a great training with the track members at NP.. after that went for Prata at somewhere opposite beauty world.. hmm.. looking forward to tonight training..
Watched Body#19 on Saturday.. it's a Thai horror Movie... for those who love horror shows, i think this gonna be nice for u.. There are a few scenes which will really make u jump off ur seat..!! A Great Show.. Go watch it..!! but the plot so-so only.. but still above avg.. =)
Went For a 10km easy run arn 51mins yesterday.. started off easy and manage to clock slightly more than 9min for last 2km.. Intend to start my swim and bike session soon.. Shall start with Swim this friday and hopefully a bike session next friday.. but is very hard to do bike in Singapore.. Everywhere u go, u always bound to be stopped by the traffic lights.. haha.. Think i'll try the coastal road and all the way to ECP..
I'm turning 23 this yr.. that means i have a year lesser to live in this beautiful world.. Imagine i expect myself to live till 80yrs old..
If god allows me to live till 80yrs old, i'm only left with only 29959200 mins.. this number will be decreased by 1 for every 60 secs gone or rather wasted.. So Life is indeed short.. What if i'm not able to live till 80?? who knows maybe 70, 60 or even 30... i wouldn't dare to do the calculation for that.. Not even for my parents or grand parents..
Recently quite a number of death occurred due to cardiovascular failure while running or doing sports.. Last week a Scottish soccer player collapsed during a match.. He was only 35 married with 4 kids.. Ytd an Army MAJ died after a run.. he was only 41.. Last year a Spanish player collapsed too.. during a match.. he was just 24 and his wife was expecting their 1st child.. Last yr too, a National Triathlete and an Army CPT collapsed and died after crossing the finishing line.. They were just 17 and 25 yrs only.. This Not only happen to male.. i remembered last yr a female VJC student collapsed during her 2.4km run and.... ya.. Sad..
SEriously i'm not very sure if that will happen to me.. cos it is simply just unpredictable.. i still rmb when i went for this Army Medical Check-Up and was told tt my Heart Beats Slower than normal.. He told me either my Heart has a problem or i'm rather Fit.. WTH!! I must admit that sometime i feel pain arn my chest area esp when i'm trying to run faster.. but will slow down when this happen.. i'll never push myself too hard.. but that doesn't mean i won't try to push.. i even thought of going for medical check-up at CGH.. but it is just too expensive and i also scare tt they will tell me that i'm not fit for running.. Haiz.. Even if the report shows that you are fit, that doesn't mean you won't suffer from cardiovascular failure.. This happened to an Elite American Marathoner.. He was passed fit but died during the Olympic trial.. he was only 24 i think.. Anyway just watched the news.. Local Actor or rather comedian MC King passed away today.. he was just 40.. i was shocked.. =(
I still remembered my friend and i were almost crash to death by this 800kg panels use for building bridge back in Army.. that was really close.. a nightmare for me.. if i reacted 3 secs slower, i dun think i'll be blogging now.. A 10kg dumb bell that fall on ur legs can damage ur feet.. imagine 800kg of steel...!!! (For more info, pls read the entry dated 12 Feb 2006)
Anyway I'm glad tt i'm able to walk after every run.. able to see the sun when i wake up.. able to eat when i'm hungry.. haha.. crap man..!! But seriously i'm really thankful that i'm able to live and enjoy myself as time passes by.. cos life is just too short to be imagined.. =)
