It's been a long time since i last blog.. too lazy...
Last Friday went for night cycling which i really enjoyed it.. get to know more friends.. from SIM to ECP.. we played games at esplande too... seriously i was abit sleepy during the whole activity dunno why (btw sleepy doesn't mean not enjoying myself).. but once i reached home, i had a hard time trying to sleep.. hmm.. still waiting for Joyce to send Me the pics..
Anyway completed AHM ytd.. was a great run as i hit my PB (1Hr 40Mins 13Secs) but not my target.. My target is under 1hr40m.. even 1hr 39m59sec will be gd.. but 14secs off.. was kinda disappointed.. maybe lack of sleep? btw i only slept for half an hour.. can u believe this? i woke up at 1230pm on sat noon then for tt night i couldn't sleep even though i was lying on my bed from 11pm till 2am.. WTH..!! then wake up at 3am.. bathed then breakfast and took a cab with Khai yau to Marina Floating Platform.. reached there 430am met LTA Ray and get my running tee.. i was running for my formation (Combat E) as NSmen.. haha.. though i know we wouldn't get top 3 becuase 2PDF and CDO are always the ones who claim the Top spot.. hmm.. saw alot of my ex campmates.. the feeling was great.. really happy to see all of them..
Anyway i did some light jogging and stretching with the members, then we head towards the starting point.. Once flag off, wei jun and i were running side by side.. we were pacing one another.. and i must admit tt to have a pacer beside u is great.. we were helping each other to go abit faster.. from shears bridge to fort road then ECP... suddenly there a guy wearing blue singlet starting to run beisde us.. hmm.. i look at him and realise he is Louis from ODAC.. he damn ZAI.. wanted to say hi but he was listening to his Mp3.. so better not disturb.. after 12k i had a slight sitch.. have to slow down my pace abit and slowly wei jun run ahead of me.. shit man.. i lost a pacer.. but nvm Louis still beisde me.. we pace each other till somewhere near fort road and i realise my calf is getting harder.. i have to slow to prevent cramps.. then from 16k onwards i lost another great pacer.. *SiGh* from 18km onwards i dunno why i just couldn't increase my speed.. each time i trying to increase my pace but my legs will feel like cramping.. then i maintain my pace and finally sprint to the finishing point during the last 300m.. after i cross the finishing point, Louis come and say thank to me.. for pacing him... haha..
Overall this run was great.. the route was good.. water points are up to standard.. 2 thumbs up for this.. this is indeed a great warm up for my Half Ironman next wk.. YEap!!
