BAck at OCS

Hmm..!! Yeah i'm back @ OCS.. so happy.. on Monday when we alight at Tango Wing, i happen to see some of the instructors.. but we didn't chat cos we had to rush to Bravo Wing to unpack our stuff.. after that was lectures and lectures.. bascially this wk was just mainly visiting and lectures.. we went to tuas naval base and PLAB.. then we went to this museum at a very ulu place near PSA (i dun even know SG has this museum) and then to Seribum beach.. Being a Joint-term cadet is so fun.. most of thing is OTOT.. go mess, play basketball, soccer or table tennis haha.. just ask then can go liao.. very relac.. on Sat we had our 1st parade rehearsal.. haha.. kinda siong.. the SSM is a nice guy with high expection.. and keep calling us swine... haha.. made people do pumping and running arn the parade square.. haha.. watever he give us just take it lor.. cos after this fews wk, we won't get a chance to do this kind of punishment le.. Saw most of my Tango friends.. so glad to see them..

Tonight book in.. tmr Siong.. Full-day rehearsal..!! sianz.. but i like it.. haha..

Last night just found out that Joan Chan has just passed away.. she's the ger that was featured abt 1 mth ago in Sunday Times.. Sad to know abt this.. i have been reading her blog eversince i read abt her last mth.. she was indeed very brave and she touched me.. Just 19 with bright future and had to be defeated by tongue cancer.. sad case..

Last Wk in ETI..

Finally.. back at ETI for the last wk.. as a cadet.. hmm.. somehow kinda miss this place.. anyway Mon and Tue actually are our off-in-lieu de but bo bian have to go for CBRE package.. it was fun esp inside the gas chamber.. it was slightly different from what i did during service term.. this was abit more advance..

Champion League final.. watch the match secretly at my friend's friend bunk.. sheesh... haha.. watch only the 2nd half nia.. overslept.. dunno who to support also cos i love both Barca and Arsenal.. anyway Barca won 2-1..

Then for the next 3 days, we had our Cert presentation, CEO dialogue and buffet dinner.. after that we march out of NEe soOn for the last time as a 3 white bar cadet..!! hopefully post me to 35 SCE..!! go Bridging..!!

Sunday gonna book in to ETI then mon morning take bus go SAFTI..!! yeap..!!Next wk will be back at OCS SAFTI.. so excited can't wait to see all my Ex Tango platoon mates.. and my instructors..hmm.. just 3 more wks to go..!!

Ex CResendo!!!

Board the plane at arn 0215 and reach thai at arn 4.. haha.. the place was quite wu lu.. anyway all of us were tired and once we board the bus most of us fell asleep right away.. i couldn't sleep as i was appreciating the surrounding.. nth much to see also.. there were 4 coaches and 2 escort vehicles.. abt 2 hr later we reach our training camp site.. looks gd and comfirm much more better than brunei.. 1st two days were bascially admin stuff drawing stores all these.. nth much

Ex DeerHunter
This Ex. was basically a so called topo exercise.. it for us to get used to the weather and familiarise with the area.. the weather was damn hot think got arn 37 deg..!! sibei sianz stops quite afew time for water break.. it was a great experience.. while walking we were bark by the dogs, we saw cows and sheeps walking right infront of us less than 5m away.. it really cool.. abt 20+ or even more and not one or two sia.. those cows even cause some disruption on the road.. lol..!! Not forgetting the Thai villagers.. all were friendly.. they greet us and we wave back at them.. makes us feel so welcome..!!

Advance Demo
My section was chosen to prep for the Adv Demo.. CCB..!! Under hot sun dig a mini trench and filled up sand bags.. was freaking siong.. there no cloud totally clear sky.. sianz ar.. we drank water like we nv drink b4.. anyway adv demo also nth much just fire off fews charges nia..

Ex Liga
This the most tiring ex of the whole trip.. deployment start arn 2000 and we dug our shellcrep during the nite.. sibei sianz.. the ground was hard on the top but the lower layer was rather easy.. then early in the morning reinforement drills.. then later in the evening ATC.. the ATC was the most tiring part.. we did it through the night.. and ofcos most of us fell alseep while resting..next day morning we had to clear obstacles.. sibei sianz.. then at night got cat oneand we were force to go inside the tonner.. was shiok cos tt the only time where we were abit relac..!! then thru the night we rest and next morning we did hasty defence.. it was indeed a very tired ex.. won't want to do tt again..!!

Ex Beaver Venture
This ex. was basically an exercise where we need to walk for long distance and complete mission.. and most importanly to catch the rat.. it hard to explained how this "game" worked.. bascially there r 4 mission.. in order to complete the last mission, we had to complete the 3 missions and to capture the rat.. sad to said that my team Tango 05 was not fated with the rat.. there were two occasions where we almost caught it.. the 1st was we were 1.5km away from the rat station and we walk our way there.. when we reach we saw another team also searching for the rat.. but then KNN they took it.. cos they found it 1st.. sianz team morale was low.. the 2nd was due to CAT 1 and there goes our rat.. our ex was not really a complete one.. because by right we had to carried 9 tires up the eagles hill.. anyway for this ex. we walk abt 50+km and our feet was blistered and some had foot rots.. sianz.. we walked until very kan kor!! it was fun.. it tested on our endurance and mind.. we even took some pics along the way.. we also rest in one of the villager house for shealter.. cos CAT 1.. the house was very simple.. dun think we can find any of those in singapore liao.. even those ubin one were better..

End of frame dinner and R &R..
We had our end of frame dinner in the camp.. the dinner was alright la.. during the dinner there were performance.. songs and abit of dance.. we enjoyed ourself cos finally everything siong things r over..!! it over..!! our mood and morale was totally different.. after tt we had canteen break.. i bought alot of cresendo tee cos it was cheap.. get some for my friends too.. the food was nice.. it was really nice and cheap.. eat like we nv eat b4.. $4 ma-chiam like buffet.. the tom-yam soup was POWER..!! the r two lan shops over there.. oh ya one of the stall got a trans.. if u know wat a trans is.. really misses the food over there..

For our R & R we visit quite a number of places.. we watched cobras show, went to this wax measum, erm Big-C shopping centre, floating market, the famous death railway and the Safari Park.. it was fun..

At arn 2000 on fri we reach the airbase.. waited awhile and board our train arn 9.. flew to Bangkok for refuel and back to SG.. reach Singapore arn 0230.. called my dad to fetch me back and reached home arn 0345.. haha..
