. Combat E Cadet Wing at Brunei .
. On the way to Mount Biang .
Omg i'm back.. i'm so Happy.. one of the most siong thing in NS has finally finished.. sibei song now!!.. shall tell u abt what i did bah..
When we touch down at Brunei Airport.. it was arn 5am.. all of us were tired.. i did not sleep during the flight cos i was so excited abt flying.. cos it my 1st time mah..so i quickly grad a window seat and play video game, watch movie all these.. KNN the Super Mario was damn hard man.. always die sia.. oh ya SIA girls were damn Chio man..haha anyway.. we took a bus to this ferry terminal and took a fast craft to another place.. this "fast craft" took 2hr.. lol.. once we reached the place, we board a bus then fetch us to Lakuin Camp..
The camp look quite old..we reached there change to PT-kit, then start unloading the stuff.. i look at the camp, i was so demoralise.. dunno y.. then during our mealtime, we were like those dunno how many yrs back NS man sia.. we have to take those metal tray and Q up for food.. like prisoner man.. haha.. as usual, we slept kinda late and have to wake up early morning.. lol.. can imagine now?
Next few days, we had a combat swimming lesson.. we had to swim across this river using 4 fieldbags.. kinda shag but once u reached the other side u feel much more better.. cool.. Next day we had a navigation practise.. Brunei jungle damn siong.. very hard to find direction.. but anyway still managed to find all the checkpoints.. erm.. nth much happen.. go back do some admin stuff and prepared for next day outfield ex mountain rat..

Haha.. Team 16..!! yeah man.. for ex mountain rat, i'm in Team 16 and thank god that i know most of the people from my grp.. cos almost all Tango r inside.. hmm.. early in the morning after inspection, we took a mini bus and went to our starting point. the weather was so hot.. after check coms all these we head to our first checkpoint.. everything seem fine until we realised that we were "holland-ed".. after 2 hr we still can't find the checkpoint and right on our back is stuff weight abt 20kg.. felt kinda tired.. we kept trying different path.. in the end we ended beside a stream.. we relac and had our lunch.. filled up our bottle with stream water and taste kinda wired but nvm, we added a pill inside it, so it safe.. haha.. it was arn 2 and abt 5hr after we left our starting point.. Jeremy and i went recce up this knoll after we found out that the checkpoint was just somewhere arn it.. we went recce and finally we found it.. both of us were so happy.. we went back to the stream and formed up with them.. soon we left the stream and off we go for the 2nd checkpoint.. after few hours, we decide to stop at one of the log point and prepare our hammock for the night.. we ate and slept.. it rain since we left the stream till the next morning.. the whole night i couldn't sleep properly cos it was damn cold.. kept waking up.. at arn 7+ we pack up and countine our journey..
From morning till 3pm we still can't find our 2nd checkpoint.. so we gave up after we realised it was all the way back.. nvm we head on to the admin point and took a mini bus to the foot of Mount Biang.. Prepare hammock and slept arn 8.. Next morning woke up arn 8 and started walking towards the log point right at the foot of Mount Biang.. we were so tired after 1hr+ of walking Sianz.. Refilled water bottles with the river water.. KNN while filling up, the other grp infront of us croos the river and the mud from thier boots.. was like.. Yuck!! those muddy water went into my bottle!! so Sway.. but hack care.. still drink.. haha.. after we cross the river, it was a journey of hell.. the journey up was so tiring.. legs were like jelly.. very weak.. but suck thumb still have to do it.. the steepest part was near the top.. was like 70 degree steep.. SiBei Sianz..!!Finally reach the top at arn 12.. had our lunch and took a few pics.. soon after half an hour we on our way down.. this was much more diffcult than climbing up.. we were "holland-ed" kinda jia lat.. not really know where we are going.. all we did was just following our compass going towards North.. at arn 5 we reached a stream and we decide to call it a day.. a few guys went recce for a place to harbour.. we followed them to the place.. and realised tt it wasn't a very gd habouring site.. the ground was abt the same level as the stream and what happen if it rain at night? we looked at our watch and it going to be dark soon.. we go back to the stream and climb up this really fucking steep and dangerous Knoll.. it was much more steeper than the one we climbed in the morning.. it was like almost 80 degree.. and we actually need those branches of the trees to support as the soil were wet.. all of us fell atleast once or twice.. and we really climbed like we never climbed b4 in our life.. was so fucking tired.. took us abt 30mins to climb a 6 storeys high slope.. KNN..!!! we quickly set up our hammock and get really to sleep.. oh ya we set in the dark.. was so jia lat..
. OopZ.. Out of Bound Area .
On the fourth day, we followed the compass and in the end lead us to the river crossing point.. by right we r suppose to do combat swim by dunno why we didn't.. then board the bus and went back to camp arn 1030 think we were the 12 team to come back.. clear our personal stores and stuff.. soon.. all the teams came back.. at that night we were not allowed to sleep because for missing items.. we searched our bunk throughout the night.. we even took everything out from the bunk(Left with beds and cardboards).. but still couldn't find it.. this ended arn 3 and instructors let us sleep.. But it was only for and hour.. we woke up at 4 to clean our weapon.. was fucking tired.. the next morning was basically clearing of stores and wash our personal items.. Haiz..at night we had duffet bag inspection and suddenly it rain.. we quickly load up our bags into the tonner and knn all of us were wet.. our instructors punished us in the rain and make up ran.. while the other formations were under shelter.. was kinda stupid but still suck thumb.. at night we played games all these to let us know each other better.. in the end we did not sleep.. cos our "Get-to-know-each-other" session end arn 4+ and we had to get really to move out.. wah lau sibei tired.. at arn 6 we board bus then took the fast craft back.. at the bus one of the Sir told us storys that he had encountered in Brunei.. hmm.. shall not mention much.. at arn 10+ we reached another camp.. had a quick breakfast and off we go for our R&R (shopping and visit places)..surf net at one of the lan shop in the shopping centre cos finished walking le mah.. oh ya the people in Brunei were friendly and kinda surprise that some of the chinese doesn't understand mandarin.. anyway the number of chinese that i saw was like less than 50.. ya it true!! the whole day..!! haha.. we had our buffet lunch and dinner at two different hotels.. the food was damn nice.. then happen to see Boon Keng (sec sch classmate).. he was posted there to do admin stuff for a yr.. at night we went back to camp and slept for 4 hours before we head on to the airport..

i was given a raffles class seat cos i was in charge of the stores for our wing.. haha.. felt so shiok.. the seat was much more comfortable than enconomy class one.. as usual.. played games, watch movie, eat and SIA girls.. haha cool.. reach Singapore at arn 7am.. rain so heavily.. after tt took a bus home.. and then relac.. =)
