Random Run...

These few days have been watching local news and Ch50.. it's been a week since the deadly quake had struck Sichuan and the hope of finding miracle survivors is fading as the time passes by.. Dead toll have reached beyond 34 000 and the officials are expecting it to surge pass 50 000.. more than 4 millions of people are either left homeless or injured.. These may be just a figure to some of you... but to most of us.. these figures were made up of different individuals and each of them came from different families with their dreams and high hopes shattered within 3 mins.. i think President Hu and Premier Wen are currently doing a fantastic job in handling the disaster.. if you have been watching news, you would have realised that they have been visiting different sites and use very powerful and touching words to motive the solders and console the victims... i think the Chinese will definitely feel proud to have such strong leaders.. there were several scenes i watched on the news which were very touching..

1st - there was this man who was trapped under a concrete wall for 3days 3 nights.. after he was found by the rescue teams, he told the reporter that no matter what he would not give up and continue to fight on to live.. he doesn't wan to let anyone down by giving up.. but after tt, it was reported that this guy died on his way to the hospital..

2nd - There was a boy whose both of his lower arms were amputated by the doctors.. his friend was crying when she told the reporter that this boy pleaded the doctor not to remove his hand as he still wants to go to sch and use his hands for writing.. he even begs the doctor to save at least one of his hand for him.. words can't describe how i feel at the time when i watched that girl saying such thing.. you have to watch it to feel it.. Haiz...

Did my LSd on Sunday.. Last min decided to run from my house to Ecp and i did.. ahaha.. left my house at 8pm.. Ran to Bedok Res and followed the PCN.. was lost in the middle of Bedok Res Road.. guess i've missed the sign board.. haha.. after running without actually knowing where am i for abt ten mins, i was back on the PCN.. haha.. seriously i really think that i've a very gd sense of direction or navigating skill.. =X ok.. while i was lost in Bedok Res Road, i ran pass this KFC and saw policemen cordon off the area.. it seem s like a crime scene as there were this little numbers cards place on the ground.. and as usual Singaporean flocked arn and kpoing what was happening.. ahah.. ok.. back to my running.. hmm.. Ran pass Kembangan station and head all the way to ECP.. saw lots of nice big big Terraces and bungalows.. Wow..!! i'm not feeling envious or jealous but i was just thinking that they must be very rich to stay in such houses.. anyway HDB also not that bad.. haha..ok after that i ran to Fort Road.. and it took me almost 2 hrs.. i was super late.. and i was quite hungry and thirsty too.. so i took the same route back to Kembangan and took a short break at 7-11.. hmm... after that took a shorter route back to Bedok Res.. and guess wat? haha i saw my bus coming and i ran to the bus stop and took the bus.. haha... it's was arn 11.30pm and my mum called.. so i guess the fastest way is to board the bus.. Total time taken 3hr 15mins hmm.. approx 28km.. =)
