16km Route March..

This week we had our 16km Route march.. kinda tired becos we were carrying those weapon that a platoon is require to bring.. stretcher, tripod and GPMG.. plus 6 saw, 6 M203 and 6 laws.. the worst thing was that our platoon only left with 24 figthing fits cos the rest of them were on status.. haiz.. 1st 4km kinda tired.. maybe is bcos we had not yet warm up.. i carry the M203 and law.. plus of cos our FBO.. i was following behind.. then next 4km was quite relac cos i was carrying the sar21 and my FBO.. reached the 8km mark.. can see that some guys can't make it.. esp those who carried the tripod and stretcher.. LTA Daniel ask for volunteer to carry the GPMG.. no one volunteer so i volunteered myself.. haha.. but it was alright.. the last 8km i was carrying the GPMG.. i use neck sling all the way cos if i side sling, the weight will be unbalance thus making it harder for me to carry it.. reach our wingline, our instructor ask us to weapon over our head.. imagine i was carrying the MG which weigh abt 11kg.. haha.. while the rest was like arn 4-6kg.. hmm.. no matter how tired i was, i still manage to lift up the MG over my head.. all of them were surprise.. LTA Timmy told the rest that "LOOK AT THE MG" immediatly i was so paiseh.. dunno my face got turn red or not.. but hack la.. haha.. must give my platoonmates some motivation..

Anyway i did my SOC with a time of 8.26mins.. to some of them are maybe fast.. but to me it is actually quite slow.. nvm my aim is to hit below 7.45mins in pro term.. hope i can achieve that.. and ya.. finally got Gold for IPPT.. finally got 234cm for SBJ.. haha.. my 2.4km was slightly worse than the previous.. the previous one my time was 9.01mins.. almost sub 9.. this time i aim for sub 9 but in the end got 9.10mins.. nvm la.. gold can liao..

oh ya.. One more week to Marathon.. yes..!! finally .. been waiting for a very long time.. ytd did a slow run for 2hr 13mins.. hope all these preparation is enough for next wk event.. sianz next week outfield the whole weekdays.. platoon field camp.. haizZzzz..
