Restriction of Cadets Privileges

Life as a RCP Personnel is not easy.. we got our hair shave and confine inside camp for 20 days (24OCt - 12Nov).. My hair was nv that short b4 even worst than BMT time.. now i just look like any of the guy from DB.. Morale damn low.. have to report to OCS HQ ops room every two hours with full pack item.. we don't walk there but we march.. marching up the hill is not easy but we are used to it as the days gone by.. the only times that we no need to report is when we are in training or sleeping.. the 1st reporting time is 0530 and last is 2145.. we had to wake up early to get ready and were the last few to sleep.. cos we had to help them to lower down the flags at the parade square (if there is shortage of CDS) and check all the rooms in the HQ are locked b4 we can go back..

1st week of RCP is damn sianz.. everywhere we go we have other cadets staring at us.. cos we were very OUTSTANDING with the new Botak hair.. i hate going to cookhouse to have my meal.. the staring from the rest was so F****** irritating.. KNN.. Dunno why a misfire incident can lead to so many punishment.. though i know it a serious offence but i dun think there a need to shave our hair.. there r 7 of us including me.. we were the famous 7 monks from Tango wing.. everywhere we go WSM will just call us Monks.. haiz.. 1st weekend was rather slow.. i saw my fellows friends book out but i'm still in camp to serve my punishment.. there nth for us to do other than eat and sleep.. or maybe ironing our smart 4 and polishing boots.. On the 1st sunday morning i was damn sianz.. i change into my PT-kit and did a 50mins run.. this is to get myself prepare for the upcoming 42km Marathon..

We had a celebration for Depavalli and Hari Raya.. the whole of OCS gathered at the cookhouse to enjoy the meals and performance.. din expect myself to attend this celebration cos i'm still an RCP.. anyway.. the two public holidays were burned.. i stay inside camp doing nth but reporting to Ops room.. sianz.. luckily there is a room called "Learning Room" at our wing line.. there r two coms with internet connections.. was inside chatting on MSN and checking email.. luckily din get caught cos it a holiday.. not many people was arn.. if kena cuaght confirm jia lat one.. *Phew* the other "good thing" abt RCP is that what u do is OTOT (own time own target).. this is only possible during wkend and public holiday.. On the 2nd wkend i ask my dad to pass me a set of civil clothe.. cos we are having our "Happy Hour" at the 3rd wk.. he drove all the way from home to my camp and pass me my clothes.. anyway the happy hour thing was kinda fun.. the whole thing was held at the Cadet mess.. there are beautiful "tiger mei mei" serving us drinks and beers.. and 4 hot chicks entertains us with their sexy dances.. omg din expect to get this kind of "entertainment" in OCS.. we also had drinking beers and arm wrestling competitions.. My wing din win.. but that doesn't matter.. the most important thing is to enjoy and relac our mind..

We had our 2D1N patrol field camp.. this camp is to teach us how to patrol an area and attack cum defence when being contacted in a section level.. this field camp was fun bcos we learn alot of things.. as expected we get only few hours of sleep.. i was the section commander for one of the ambush mission.. LTA Jeremiah was the one who accessing me.. at the end of this ambush mission.. he wrote that i was lack of passion and need to be more enthu.. omg.. was damn low.. but anyway.. we learned from experience.. i told my platoon mates abt the comments i was given and since then i was known as "passion" everywhere i go they will called me passion and keep reminding me to show some passion in everything i do.. haha.. kinda funny..

On that week we also had our GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun) live firing.. wow.. the MG was so Powerful.. i had nv seen such a powerful gun b4.. is like confirm die thing..!! i love this weapon man.. but hor it was heavy.. abt 10kg..

Basically that what happen during my RCP life.. actually when i think abt it.. it was quite enjoyable too.. oh ya i remember LTA denash told the 7 of us that we were "lucky" cos we are enjoying the full package of OCS.. cos only a handful of "fortunate" cadets like us can enjoy the RCP life.. haha..

Finally book out after 20 days confinement and life as RCP..!! sianz next week Have to go digging..!! EX SPADE..!!
