New Balance Duathlon 06
This week in ETI is so far the most relaxing week.. i shall say is a recovery week.. had almost finsihed all the stuffs in our specialise term now waiting for the joint-term where all the CBRE people r back.. Got a gold for my IPPT.. finally 234cm and ran a 9.06min for my 2.4km quite satisfy with it consider that i had my Biathlon few days back.. oh my result for the Nus Biathlon is out.. Pos. 91 out of 298.. 41.30mins for swim and 48.43mins for run.. Total 1h30.13m.. hehee..
Hmm.. NB Duathlon 06..YEs.. it is one of the most important Race that i always to forward to.. last yr cycled with a mountain bike but this yr i came with a roadbike.. hope can improve my timing for cycling.. dad fetch me to ECP early in the morning then i make my way to the starting point.. the places was crowded and that makes the atmosphere really great.. power!! did some warm up while watching the younger age grp race.. those boy-boy and ger-ger r damn gd.. they ran really fast.. guess some r faster than me.. yupz.. imagine bah.. soon my wave started.. i ran at a steady pace and surprise that i'm actually ahead of quite a number of people.. nvm just continue.. after the 1st round of 5km, funny leh how come my timing was arn 20mins.. can't be mah since when i improve so much.. then ran the next 5km and timing was arn 42mins.. weird somemore din put in my full effort cos still got 40km cycle and 5km run coming up.. hmm maybe the route was slightly shorter than 10km?? i duno.. anyway.. the cycling part was the most realxing part.. the wind blew against you and u see people cycle passed u and see urself over taking other people.. the feeling is gd.. it really relax my mind and body.. i look at my watch after every 10km and i happy with it.. approx. 20 min/10k consider that i din even train for my bike and not a professional triathlete.. hmm ok la.. anyway went there to enjoy myself.. so the timing was alright.. finished my bike and the moment i step down from my bike, i can feel the cramp in my thigh.. so i started my last 5km run very slowly.. really every slow man.. after abt 1.5km, i started increase my pace by abit and abit.. then i stopped for awhile really can't take it.. if carry on my legs gonna break.. so i walk for a while b4 i continue..soon reach the U-turn point.. and that where i saw this National Triathlete name Elaine abt 50m behind me.. she really gd.. she came in 6th during the SEA game.. btw we dunno each other.. i just happen to know her name thru website.. though the women race started 15mins later she managed to over take me.. imagine.. how fast nowadays can ladies be.. oh ya she just 18 this yr.. cool ar.. then i can't take it liao.. how can i let a ger over take me.. KNN i increase my speed and over take her.. bleah.. she behind me le.. haha.. but after 1km or so.. bo bian legs going to cramp.. so i slow down and she over take me.. wah lau totally demoralise.. nvm la.. just continue my ran at a steady pace and soon reached the finishing line le.. once i stopped.. my legs cramp like siao.. i can't even bent my legs.. if i bent, i feel tt my muscles gonna tears.. that how tight my muscles is.. stand for abt 3mins before i eventually sat down.. did some cooling down and head on to the transition area to collect my stuffs.. watched the prize presentation and then cycle to Tampines and met jin for lunch..
Really a good race.. i love it.. i can't wait for more races to come.. ohh gonan be back at ECP on 28 Feb for Wing outing.. oh ya cycle and run again for our outing.. cool.. hope my legs can recover in time..
